What we need
Plastic Technology Service Ltd (PTS) will be what is known as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us. PTS’s company registration number is 2585291 and its registered address is Unit 16 Star Road Trading Estate, Star Road, Partridge Green, Horsham, RH13 8RA, United Kingdom.
Unless otherwise agreed with you, we will only collect basic personal data about you, which does not include any special categories of personal information about you (often known as ‘sensitive personal data’). The information does however include the likes of your name, work address, email address and job title.
Why we need it
We need to know basic personal data in order to provide you with the materials supply services that you have engaged us to provide, and to assert our right to be recompensed in return for these services, as per our terms and conditions agreement with you. If you do not provide this information then we will be unable to provide the materials supply services you have requested. We will not collect any personal data from you that we do not need in order to provide and oversee the services we have agreed to provide you with. We process your data only if we have your consent, or if it is necessary for the legitimate interest pursued by PTS or a third party, except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require protection of personal data.
What we do with it
All the personal data we hold about you will be processed by our staff in the United Kingdom and no third parties will have access to your data unless there is a legal obligation for us to provide them with this. Please be aware however that your information may be stored on a cloud based system whose servers are located within or outside of the European Union. Where the servers are located outside of the European Union all reasonable steps have been taken to make sure that they comply with relevant legally required standards and protocols. We take all reasonable steps to ensure that your personal data is processed securely.
How long we keep it
We will generally keep your data for a minimum of 7 years, after which time it will be destroyed if it is no longer required for the lawful purpose for which it was obtained. If you consent to marketing, any information used for this purpose will be kept with us until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information.
What we would like to do with it
We would like to send you information about our products and services, by email, telephone, and post. Please note that if our marketing information is sent to you via email, on either the lawful basis of consent or legitimate use, then your data may be shared with the third party organisation Mailchimp, who may make contact on our behalf.
