Ketjenblack Conductive Carbon Black

Akzo Nobel has a leading position in the electroconductive carbon black market through their joint venture with Ketjenblack International Corporation (KBIC).  Ketjenblack EC products are high purity super electroconductive carbon blacks.

Due to their unique morphology, substantially lower amounts of Ketjenblack EC-300J, and even lesser amounts of Ketjenblack EC-600JD, are needed in comparison to conventional carbon blacks. This results in improved processing of the compound as well as in improved mechanical properties and electroconductivity of the finished articles.

Our electroconductive carbon blacks can be applied in all types of polymers and elastomers.
